Daniel Damico was raised on Long Island, NY where he was brought up on the classic artists such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Springsteen and Billy Joel. Picking up the piano at age four and the guitar at fourteen he quickly realized his passion and love for music and his undeniable drive to pursue a career in the biz.
Daniel moved to Boston in 1998 to attend Berklee College of Music where he studied audio engineering, production and of course guitar and piano. Upon graduating Daniel moved to Los Angeles to seek out his first opportunities in the professional world.
After being in Los Angeles for only six months Daniel landed his first big gig as the guitarist and keyboardist for The Calling. The next few years consisted of constant touring worldwide and performances on major television shows such as David Letterman, Jay Leno, Good Morning America, and American Idol.
Over the next few years Daniel was the go to Music Director for the likes of Ron Fair, Geffen, A&M, RCA, Warner Bros, BMG, Sony, Atlantic, and 19 Records taking the reigns with such artists as The Pussycat Dolls, Orianthi, Alex Band, Emmy Rossum and many others. Session and Writing credits include Jon McLaughlin, Daughtry, Korn, Daniel Powter, Alex Band, and Jazmine Kara.
In 2014 Daniel became part of American Idol Winner David Cook's band playing Lead Guitar and Piano, touring both domestically and internationally in support of David’s new material. Daniel is currently on tour with David with a 2015 tour ready to launch in February.
